we rode the furnicular up to montjuic today and then i took the teleferico to the military fortress and spend most of a (finally) sunny afternoon there. Heading back we walked down, through the museum and went to the Caixa Forum, the old modernista factory and walked back home through Poble Sec. Aside from being an awesomely designed building by Puig i Cadafalch, it had this really amazing exhibit on Alphonse Mucha. i think he may be one of my new favorite artists. that's one of his photographs. his black and whites are great and sometimes creepy. his building designs are amazing and i love the fantastical way he drew women.
