The rain really dampened my spirits today. I kept speculating whether or not the drop the rolled off the side of an awning also came into contact with any bird poop on its way down... not very pleasant. Other than that, the ride was plain. As is common in Miami, creepy old men approaching senility made tasteless comments and nothing too interesting happened. I traveled a grand total of 2.01 miles since I've started this blog. It seems appropriate to keep track of my miles, compounding them daily, so I'll make a habit of noting it in my entries whenever I ride.
In other news, there will be a brief hiatus in my riding because I'm going to New York for a week tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, I won't be riding bike there, though it would be amazing if I had a bike at my disposal. For now I'll muse about future sojourns on my wheels of chance.
