Miami, I dare you to impress me.

As I said, I want to play with my familiarity with Miami-- so I'm venturing outside of it. I've been looking into a long trip up to Oleta River State Park. Apparently it's one of south Florida's larger parks and has boasted a 10 mile bike trail with 3 miles paved and and excellent view of key biscayne. It would also be an prime opportunity for photographic endeavors, so it's fairly win-win. It's a total of 31.8 miles from my house to the park, though I think I'll make some of it public transportation or maybe just frequent stops. Planning long trips becomes so difficult unfortunately, because I have to depend on good weather for a long period of time as well as food stops. Maybe I'll try to bring a sort of picnic with me? All this is so experimental because I've never taken on a trip of this magnitude before. I'm already anxious to chronicle all the curious things I encounter, ha. Consider this a tentative trip for Thursday, three days away!

it would be cool if you actually updated this thing from time to time.
